Bottom Line: The waters of pirate movie creativity have long been shallowed by a ravenous, Disney-helmed, four-headed beast known to some as The Adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow. ...And although this lazily titled animated flick sometimes feels as fresh as…it’s lazily envisioned title, the talented crew at Aardman Animation has still crafted a harmless, goofy and sporadically fun seven seas romp. It’s gorgeously animated high-jinx will keep kids tuned in and its slender 88 minute running time plus dry British wit should keep parents from tuning out. Set a course for a matinee near you.
