Starring: Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert DeNiro

Rated: R
Story: Based on a shocking true story, Killer Elite pits two of the world’s most elite operatives—Danny, an ex-special ops agent and Hunter, his longtime mentor—against the cunning leader of a secret military society. Covering the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East, Danny and Hunter are plunged into a highly dangerous game of cat and mouse—where the predators become the prey. (Open Road Films)

Bottom Line: Not unlike putting a puzzle together without all the pieces, building a shed without blueprints or deciding whether or not to see a movie without visiting, KILLER ELITE struggles with a sporadic, disjointed and fatigued garble of cinematic misdirection. Unfortunately, a great cast, intriguing plot and occasional action-packed antics are all for not and kept this movie from being the rousing, adrenaline-fueled game of cat-and-mouse the trailer teased it would be…
