BTMG's Top 20 Movies of the Aught's (2000-2009)

It’s not getting any easier…  A few weeks back I decided to tackle my Top Ten Twenty Films of the 80’s which, in turn,  forced me to dig deep and do the same for the 90’s.  With those two lists under my belt and a lot of complaints (or suggestions, however you choose to look at it) I’ve finally put together yet another list – this time for the Aught’s (2000-2009).

 

If my weekly reviews have taught you anything about my process, it’s that I enjoy reviewing movies in short form.  Quick and to the point, a word-of-mouth review, from one friend to another.  You have other things to do - and if there's a movie you should see I'll tell ya' and send you on your way.  That’s precisely why you’ll find no explanations below, just numbers 1-20, titles and the year it was released.  If you trust me, you’ll take the plunge…

 

Oddly, no films from 2001 or 2005 made the list, but here are some of the titles that just missed the cut:
