Bottom Line: Franco, Rogen, Hill, McBride and
a well-known cast of thousands – well a
dozen or so – star and play themselves partying it up Hollywood-style in this
end-of-the-world, raunchy, shameless, post-apocalyptic, self-deprecating,
sophomoric, frat boy kegger sci-fi comedy (sci-fomedy?!)… It all boils down to a one-note story, but
still happens to be one of the most giddily irreverent, riotously goofy and
hilariously unhinged flicks I’ve seen in a long time… You might hate it, but I guess that would
only be a wakeup call to get over yourself, let loose and have a little
fun. A blast from start to finish, I’m
hoping thoughts of some sort of follow-up don't take this movie's title too literally.
