THE CROODS (A-/A+/A+/A+)

Bottom Line: A franchise worthy, beautifully envisioned, entertaining and giddily action-packed prehistoric world where both children and parents alike will find smiles-a-plenty!  ‘Super awesome’, ‘Not scary’ and ‘An A+ with bacon because bacon makes everything better’ where a few of the raves I extorted from my two older sons and their buddy (ages 8, 7 and 6)...  They rightfully loved it – and as well they should as its sub-Pixar-level story of living each day to its fullest was heightened by a family friendly, infectious and unfettered free spirit.  A colorful, innovative and heartfelt blast – you’d have to have rocks in your head to not enjoy the simple pleasures of this rollicking animated caveman movie!
