MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE'S MOST WANTED (B)

Bottom Line: A circus of colorful animation and infectious family fun make this third outing in the four-fish-out-of-water, animated franchise the best one yet.  Yes, it’s loud and there’s no real message or deeper meaning – but this lion, hippo, zebra and giraffe team finally hit their stride when, out of nowhere, they decide to entertain the parents as well.  Vivid animation, an engaging story and a ton of family friendly laughs – it may not be great, but it sure qualifies as one of the ‘Goodest’ Shows on Earth this summer.

Starring the voices of: Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Frances McDormand
Directed by: Eric Darnell (MADAGASCAR 1 & 2 and ANTZ)
Rated: PG
Running time: 85 minutes
Story: Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style. (DreamWorks Animation)
