Bottom Line: This thrillingly ballistic, non-stop, high-stakes, globetrotting, death-defying, dazzling and breakneck-paced fourth installment of the hit-and-miss MISSION franchise is the new bar by which all like-minded, cartoonishly fun action flicks should be measured. You can consume intimate arthouse fare at home, in a bathrobe with a log of Fig Newtons - but GHOST PROTOCOL is exactly why they build huge multiplexes and it makes for one heck of a good reason to shovel butter-soaked, over-salted popcorn down your gullet for 133 minutes. The most fun I’ve had at a movie all year… Mission: Complete!

Rated: PG-13
Starring: Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Simon Pegg
Directed by: Brad Bird
Running time: 133 minutes
Story: Blamed for the terrorist bombing of the Kremlin, IMF operative Ethan Hunt is disavowed along with the rest of the agency when the President initiates "Ghost Protocol". Left without any resources or backup, Ethan must find a way to clear his agency's name and prevent another attack. To complicate matters further, Ethan is forced to embark on this mission with a team of fellow IMF fugitives whose personal motives he does not fully know. (Paramount Pictures)
