TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN (B-)

Bottom line: Not unlike taping your eyelids to your forehead, downing a 2-liter full of Dr. Pepper, pouring crushed-up Smartie dust in your eyes and lighting M80’s off in the seats to each side of you (every 6 or 7 minutes). It’s 2 ½ hours long so it makes for an epically tedious sit…oh, and the story is pretty silly…oh, and it’s pretty cheesy at times. However, it delivers in the only arena that any one should expect – it’s a pleasantly chaotic, action-packed, way over the top summer popcorn flick with equal parts eye-rolling dialogue, jaw-dropping special effects and a butt-numbing running time. Lighten up and have some fun with it – just be sure to stretch and drink plenty of liquids.
